Everything you need to get started with StreamVox
Getting Started
Installation
On Windows, download StreamVox from the Microsoft Store; on Mac and iPhone, get it from the App Store. Either installs in seconds.
First Launch
Open StreamVox, grant audio permissions, and you're ready to translate.
Quick Start
Click Start, play any audio, and see real-time subtitles appear.

Real-Time Translation
Translates any audio playing on your PC, Mac or iPhone with minimal latency.
Conversation Mode
Pick one source (mic or system audio) for 10 curated languages, auto-detected per line — or combine both for the full catalog plus Quality and Medical modes, each side its own channel.
Smart Overlay
Customizable floating window (font, color, size) stays on top of games, movies, and apps.
Flexible Audio Source
Pick one source at a time - full system audio, a specific app (Zoom, Discord), or your microphone. Conversation mode can also combine microphone and system audio together.
Multilingual Interface
App UI available in 12 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, German, French, Russian, Turkish, Italian, Polish, Korean.
Privacy Mode
Audio is processed in real-time and never stored on servers.

Troubleshooting
No Audio Detected
Ensure your audio device is selected in Windows Sound Settings (on Mac: System Settings → Sound).
Translation Delayed
Check internet connection. StreamVox requires stable internet.
Overlay Not Showing
On Windows, try running as administrator; on a Mac, check StreamVox's permissions in System Settings.
Low Accuracy
Background noise affects quality. Use headphones when possible.
