Payment problems reach you before your plan stops

• 新增If a payment fails, StreamVox tells you while your plan is still working — not after it has stopped.
• 新增Changing plan in the Microsoft Store now reminds you to cancel the previous subscription, so you aren't charged twice.
• 修复"Session expired" now takes you back to the sign-in screen.

Your paid plan stays your paid plan

• 修复Your subscription is now always recognised as active — in rare cases a paid account could previously appear on the free plan.
• 优化In Conversation, the Sound menu at the top now offers microphone and computer sound together too.
• 优化My Profile redesigned — account, subscription and account deletion are clearly separated, with a bar showing this month's plan usage.
• 修复Sharper icons throughout, and a few that were slightly cut off now show in full.

Quality and Medical everywhere & calmer reading

• 新增Quality and Medical modes can now be used in any session — including Conversation on a single microphone, and in languages other than English, where they used to be hidden.
• 修复StreamVox no longer takes your chosen mode away from you mid-call.
• 修复Reading back through the text is no longer interrupted — new lines can't break what you're selecting, and the view no longer jumps to the bottom while you read.
• 优化Scroll up and StreamVox stays put; a small arrow appears only when new text has arrived while you were reading.

The first launch is instant

• 修复The very first launch is now instant — no blank screen, and no waiting on a local-network permission before the app opens.
• 修复The app opens on its own dark background instead of a white flash.

Tells you when the app you picked is silent

• 新增If the app you chose for single-app capture isn't producing sound, StreamVox now tells you which app is silent, instead of quietly using up your session time.
• 修复The spoken-translation button now reflects whether a voice exists for your language from the moment you open the app.
• 优化In My Profile, your subscription status stands out at a glance — green when renewing, orange when cancelled but still active.
• 修复Menu labels containing "&" no longer lose the symbol and the word after it.
• 优化"Leave feedback" now opens the review window directly in the Microsoft Store.

Per-app capture says what it can do up front

• 优化If your version of Windows can't capture a single app's sound, StreamVox says so up front and suggests a working alternative — instead of refusing only after you press Start.
• 优化The echo warning during spoken translation now appears exactly when it's genuinely needed.
• 修复The System Audio option was mislabelled in Italian.

Long-form speed & Korean spacing

• 优化Translation arrives about twice as fast when you speak for a long time without pausing.
• 修复Korean text no longer runs words together.
• 优化Languages in the list are now labelled in your own language too, so the one you need is easy to find.

Thai speed & mode-accuracy fixes

• 优化Thai transcription and translation now appear noticeably faster — delivery delay dropped from around 6 seconds to under 1.
• 修复Fixed Medical mode failing outright for Chinese and Arabic sessions.
• 修复Fixed Gaming and Meeting mode's specialized vocabulary list being applied even on non-English sessions, where it couldn't help and slightly hurt accuracy — it's now used only for English.

Sentence-cutoff & long-pause fixes

• 修复Fixed an issue where a sentence could be cut off mid-word during a natural pause in speech, sometimes corrupting the text that followed.
• 修复Fixed a rarer issue where a long stretch of speech (up to around 49 seconds in one observed case) could go completely untranslated — pauses that used to slip past the safety net are now caught reliably.

Transcript reliability

A reliability release focused on transcript quality.

• 优化Fewer duplicate lines during live transcription.
• 优化More of what's spoken reliably makes it through as finished text, instead of being dropped.

Certificate fix & more natural sentence breaks

• 修复Fixed a connection issue that could prevent some users from reaching speech recognition at all, caused by a single corrupted security certificate in the Windows certificate store.
• 修复Subtitle and translation text is now split more naturally at sentence boundaries — a single sentence no longer occasionally arrives as two separate, disconnected pieces.

Speech-recognition reliability

A reliability-focused release — several ways speech could silently go missing are now closed.

• 优化Speech recognition is more resilient to connection trouble — if part of the recognition service becomes unreachable, StreamVox automatically tries a backup connection instead of ending the session.
• 优化If a connection genuinely fails, StreamVox now tells you clearly, instead of silently doing nothing while appearing to still be working.
• 修复The very first words spoken right as a session starts are no longer lost while the connection is being established.
• 修复Cleaner microphone audio when the input is loud.
• 优化More reliable microphone capture-device selection.
• 新增A warning now appears if your microphone isn't picking up any sound at all.
• 修复Conversation mode: when two speakers switch languages back-to-back with no pause, each part is now translated in its own correct language, instead of one language being applied to both.

The reliability release

• 修复Fixed for macOS 14 and 15 — the top bar could stretch and overlap; it now looks the same on every macOS version.
• 优化The top-bar button now names your current plan and opens the plan list in one click — move up or down, and nothing is purchased automatically.
• 优化Buttons are easier to hit — they respond across their whole area, not just the label, and light up under the pointer.
• 优化Better behaviour when the connection is having trouble — StreamVox waits until it's really connected, retries by itself, and tells you plainly if it still doesn't work, instead of waiting in silence.

Quality & interface polish

Sharper Conversation mode, a clearer status footer, and a cleaner look throughout.

Teleprompter Lock for gamers & single-window

• 新增Teleprompter Lock (🔒) makes the overlay fully click-through — your cursor and camera stay with the game while translations stay visible. Press Ctrl+Shift+L to unlock.
