On Windows and Mac, StreamVox displays subtitles in a floating overlay window that stays on top of any application.
On iPhone the equivalent is the teleprompter, a Picture in Picture window — same idea, but iOS owns its size and position. See the teleprompter controls.
What you can customize
- Font size — adjustable via slider to fit your screen
- Text color — six presets (white, yellow, green, cyan, orange, pink)
- Dual coloring — pick separate colors for the Original speech and the Translation, so you can tell them apart at a glance
- Transparency — slide from opaque to nearly invisible
- Position — drag the overlay anywhere on screen
- Display modes — single-line ticker or multi-line paragraph
Settings persistence
Your preferences are saved automatically between sessions. The overlay opens exactly where and how you left it last time.
